Week 18: Sewing the blanket

For the advanced prototype – we sewed the electrical wires into a 1.2 x 1.9 meter blanket, thereby concealing the cables.

We also sewed a duvet cover into which the blanket will be inserted.

The cover includes markings for the heating points,which will guide the user where to place the heating spots.

We also designed

 3D printing of a casing for the electronic components and a control box,which will include:

• Shelves for the circuit boards

• Channels for wire routing

• An initial space for a control button

• A channel for an LED strip
