Week 4: Building Personas and Defining the Problem

From Insights to Action

This week’s class was all about teamwork and turning insights from our research into actionable ideas. Each group delved into the findings from end-user interviews, discussing recurring themes and patterns. Our task was to complete a document titled "Defining Customer Needs," which serves as a foundation for identifying specific problems our project aims to solve.

Crafting Our "How Might We" Question The ultimate goal of this exercise was to define a clear and focused "How might we..." question. This statement is designed to capture the essence of the challenge we want to address. Based on interview findings and participant quotes, our group developed the following question:"How might we help Michal relieve stress before bed in order to sleep better?"

This question reflects the common need for stress management and relaxation identified in our research and sets the stage for brainstorming solutions.

 Preparing for the Next Step

As part of our assignment, we’ll prepare a presentation for next week’s class. This presentation will showcase:

  • The final need and idea we’re focusing on.

  • Data collected throughout our research, including expert insights, end-user quotes, and findings from relevant articles.

  • Our finalized "How might we..." question.

Stay tuned as we continue refining our ideas and move closer to proposing a meaningful solution to this challenge!
