Week 8+9: 4-step flow & Design values

Design Values

Following last week's scenario writing, this week’s class focused on defining three core design values for our product—three key principles we want our product to embody and deliver to the user. These values had to align closely with the scenario we developed earlier, ensuring consistency in our vision.

Building on that, we created a 4-step flow diagram, illustrating the user journey with our product. This diagram starts with the problem the product aims to solve and then outlines four stages, each detailing what the user does, what they see, and the values they experience at every step. The process culminates in the desired outcome for the user, tying everything back to the design values we prioritized.

Those were our main tasks for the week, but the journey doesn’t stop here! We also met as a team to prepare for next week’s exciting mentor speed dating meetings.
